Polegate, Sussex – The A27 Eastbound was closed this afternoon following an incident involving an overturned tractor between the A22 Cop Hall Roundabout and the Golden Jubilee Roundabout.
The tractor overturned, blocking the road and spilling its load of hay across the carriageway, causing major delays and disruption. Emergency services responded swiftly, and clean-up crews worked to clear the scene.
The road has since reopened, and traffic is now flowing normally.
