Appeal for information after an electric mountain bike was stolen from Brighton seafront

Police would like to speak to them after an electric mountain bike was stolen from Brighton seafront.

The bike was locked to a post in Kings Road Arches at 12.30pm on Wednesday June 22 and was taken at 2.37pm.

Worth about £5000, the bike is made by Trek and has a distinctive red frame and black handlebars.

Extensive enquiries have already taken place, especially around CCTV, and officers are hopeful that sharing the footage will result in a positive identification of the suspect, who was wearing their hair in a top knot, dressed all in black and wearing a ‘The North Face’ top.

The suspect can be seen dragging the bike up a nearby subway two minutes later.
