On the 19th of June 2022 Sussex Roads Police stopped a vehicle on the A259 in Chichester due to the manner of driving.
The driver Svajunas Kalonas, age 34 of Cheshire Crescent, Tangmere was was already disqualified for a previous Drink Driving conviction.
Sussex roads Police seized the car under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act and once in custody the Mr Kalonas provided a specimen of breath with the lowest reading be 90.
Mr Kalonas appeared at Worthing Magistrates court and was sentenced today to 12 weeks custodial sentence, 36 months disqualification and ordered to pay £154 in costs
