Coxswain Mark Sawyer and members of Eastbourne Lifeboat fundraising team were presented with a cheque by Eastbourne Borough Council on Wednesday night.
The money came from donations made during this year’s Airbourne back in August and the Eastbourne RNLI were one of three chosen charities to benefit.
Each Charity received a very generous donation of £3,310.77.
Coxswain Mark Sawyer said ‘I’m honoured to represent everyone at Eastbourne RNLI and collect this donation. Every penny will go towards continuing our work Saving Lives at Sea.’ Mark said as he received the cheque.
