Police are appealing for witnesses after a single car collision in Bognor in which a man sadly died.
The white Fiat 500 collided with the sea wall on The Esplanade at about 3.50am on Monday September 12.
An 83-year-old man, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was removed from the car and received urgent medical assistance.
Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of paramedics, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
His next-of-kin have been informed and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
