Gatwick: Heavily intoxicated passenger assaults police officer

In an incident Sunday night (10th September 2023) at Gatwick Airport, a highly intoxicated and aggressive male passenger was taken into custody after he initially refused to disembark from an outbound aircraft.

The situation escalated further when the unruly passenger assaulted a police officer during his arrest.

Gatwick Police said on Social Media “A long chat in the morning awaits once he’s sober.”
