Christopher Iredale, 36, of Sussex Road, Haywards Heath, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court today after being charged with manslaughter following the death of a 63‑year‑old man at a local pub.
Iredale was remanded in custody and is due to appear at a higher court for a plea and trial preparation hearing. The case is being handled by Sussex Police detectives as part of Operation Harfield.
Police have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing and continue to appeal for anyone with information about the incident to come forward, quoting the relevant reference number.
