A man has died after being struck by a car in Crowborough, East Sussex.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Sunday evening after reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the man, believed to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other pedestrians suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their investigation.
Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage from the area to come forward to help establish the circumstances of the crash.
