Sussex Police have issued an appeal to identify a man following a series of sexual assaults on women along Hove seafront.

Officers say several women were approached and sexually assaulted over their clothing between 4.30am and 9.30am while exercising or resting near Hove Lawns.

The man police want to speak to is described as bald, in his 40s, with a Spanish or Italian accent, and often seen wearing exercise clothes.

The incidents may be linked to similar reports from 2023 and 2024, for which a man was arrested but later released with no further action.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police online or by calling 101, quoting Operation August.
In an emergency, always dial 999.
