Sussex Police have issued a renewed appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a fatal collision on the A27 near Wilmington late on 30 September.
Emergency services were called just before 11pm to reports of a serious crash between Drusillas Roundabout and Polegate. The collision involved a red Renault Clio, driven by an 18-year-old man, and another car driven by a 26-year-old from Eastbourne.
Despite the efforts of paramedics and police at the scene, the 18-year-old driver of the Clio was pronounced dead. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. The other driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

They are now urging anyone who may have seen the vehicles before the crash or who has dash-cam footage from the area between Drusillas Roundabout and Polegate around 11pm to come forward. Even small details could help the investigation.
