Emergency services were called to Piddinghoe Road, Lewes at around 11.45pm on Friday, 11 July, after reports of a major crash involving a dark grey Audi, a white Renault Clio, and a white Fiat Panda.
Despite efforts by paramedics, a 25-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed, and Sussex Police have expressed their condolences to his family.
The drivers of the two other vehicles sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are urging witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage from the area around the time of the collision to come forward.
