The countdown is on for one of the most hotly anticipated events in the British motocross calendar – the ACU Compass Cup 2025, set to take place at Culham MX, Oxfordshire, on 27–28 September.
Hosted this year by Mid Sussex Motocross Club, the competition will see eight powerhouse clubs from across the UK battle for supremacy:
- Mid Sussex (host club)
- GEST (Sussex)
- East Kent
- Mecca X (Kent)
- Norfolk & Suffolk
- PJMC (Peterborough)
- Cheshire
- Kensworth
From the youngest, fastest 50cc riders in the country to seasoned 35+ Vet competitors, the event promises high-octane racing across eight classes, with every point crucial in the fight for club honours.
Rising Stars and Veterans
Among the competitors to watch is John Slade Age 12 (#288), racing for PJMC. Despite his young age, Slade has already claimed the Arenacross World Tour Championship title – and his presence underscores just how important the Compass Cup has become for riders climbing the UK motocross ladder.
“This event means everything to the younger generation,” organisers said. “All points matter – every lap could make the difference.”
