Danish homewares brand Søstrene Grene is set to open its newest Sussex store in County Mall, Crawley, on Friday 24th October at 9:59am. The launch marks another milestone in the brand’s UK expansion, bringing its signature Scandinavian-inspired homewares, furniture, lifestyle and craft items to the heart of the town.
To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 customers through the doors will receive a voucher for a large tufted rug worth over £60, while all guests will be treated to a tote bag filled with Søstrene Grene goodies, live classical music, ballet performances, and light refreshments.

The Crawley store becomes the 61st Søstrene Grene location in the UK and joins existing Sussex branches in Horsham and Brighton. The brand, which now has over 360 stores worldwide, continues to grow its presence across the country.
Group CEO and co-owner Mikkel Grene said the new opening reflects the brand’s mission to share its sense of hygge—a warm, cosy atmosphere—across the UK. “We’re thrilled to bring our signature Scandinavian design and welcoming experience to Crawley,” he said.
UK partners Norma Jacob and Richard Power added that the new County Mall location offers shoppers a “calm and inspiring space” in the centre of this “vibrant town.”
County Mall’s Deputy Centre Manager, Damien Gough, welcomed the addition, saying Søstrene Grene’s thoughtful shopping experience and Scandinavian style are a “perfect fit” for Crawley’s retail scene.
The Søstrene Grene store officially opens at 9:59am on Friday, 24th October, promising a stylish new shopping experience for local residents.
