Police are appealing for information after a 15-year-old boy was bitten by a dog in Goring.
The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Monday, 1 September, in Coleridge Road. The teenager had been walking with a friend in Coleridge Crescent before turning into Coleridge Road, where they saw a man walking a dog believed to be a Rottweiler.
As they passed, the dog reportedly jumped up and bit the boy on the arm. The teenager phoned his mother, who attended the scene, at which point the man walked away.
The boy was taken to hospital by his mother and treated for his injuries. He has since been discharged and is recovering at home.
Sussex Police said officers are following “multiple lines of enquiry” and are keen to trace the man involved.
