Sussex Police are urgently seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men following a serious assault in Tarring, Worthing.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, 30 September 2025, at approximately 6:00 PM outside the Green Man Ale and Cider House, located at the junction of St Dunstan’s Road.
According to police reports, two young men attacked two others, aged 48 and 59. Both victims required hospital treatment, with one sustaining a serious injury. Investigators have released images of the suspects and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward.
Descriptions of the Suspects
Suspect 1: A man in his late teens or early 20s, approximately 5’8″ tall, wearing a black coat, grey hooded top, grey jogging bottoms, black trainers, and has braces.
Suspect 2: A man also in his late teens or early 20s, around 6′ tall, wearing a black coat, black jogging bottoms, trainers, and a hat.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the assault or possesses any relevant CCTV, mobile phone, or dashcam footage to contact them.
