Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to identify following a sexual assault on a teenage girl in Bognor Regis.
The incident was reported to have occurred between 10.10am and 10.20am on Wednesday, 23 October, while the victim was walking along Hawthorn Road.
According to police, a man riding an electric scooter approached the girl from behind and made inappropriate sexual comments as she continued walking in the direction of Hampshire Avenue via Collyer Avenue.
A short time later, at the junction of Gravits Lane and Hampshire Avenue, the man sexually assaulted the victim before leaving the area.
The suspect is described as being around 18 or 19 years old, approximately 5ft 8in tall, with brown eyes, and was wearing a black puffa jacket with the word ‘Hoodrich’ in large white writing on the back. He was also seen wearing white gloves.
Police have now released CCTV footage as part of their investigation and are appealing for anyone who recognises the man to come forward.
Police Constable Jack Amos said:
