The much-anticipated Beach Lifeguard Service for 2024 is now officially live! Lifeguards will be on duty across Brighton and Hove beaches from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM daily, ensuring the safety of all beachgoers.

This year, lifeguard towers are strategically positioned at the following locations:

  • Kemp Town Beach: BN3 1EN
  • East of Brighton Palace Pier: BN2 1PS
  • Albion Beach: BN2 1TD
  • Central Brighton, West Street: BN1 2FN
  • West Pier Beach: BN1 2LN
  • King Alfred: BN3 2WW (operating from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM)

Beachgoers are strongly encouraged to visit lifeguarded beaches and swim between the flags for maximum safety. The presence of professional lifeguards significantly reduces the risk of accidents and ensures prompt assistance in case of emergencies.
