Peacehaven Resident Arrested for Threatening Public

54-year-old faces court after a string of aggressive incidents in local community areas

In Peacehaven, a 54-year-old man, Andrew Sinclair of Trafalgar Close, faces charges after a series of disturbing incidents involving threatening verbal abuse. Between February 17 and March 8, authorities were alerted to three separate occurrences where Sinclair allegedly engaged in aggressive behavior in public areas, targeting passersby with threatening words.

Charged on March 12, Sinclair faces serious accusations, including threats to kill, three counts of employing threatening, abusive, or insulting language or actions with the intent to instigate fear or provoke violence, and two counts of making threats to damage or destroy property.

Following his arrest, Sinclair has been granted conditional bail. He is scheduled to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on April 11 to respond to the charges.
