Brighton news 2022 – in pictures

This year as ever has been a busy one for both Sussex News and for Brighton. From protests to violent crime, our team has tried our hardest to keep you up to date with breaking news from our unique city.

Our Brighton and Hove photographer William Whitty (@Thewhittyphoto) has put together this brief round up some of story’s he captured in the city in 2022.

He commented: “This is a short collection of editorial shots I’ve taken in Brighton throughout 2022. These are not meant to show the the ‘biggest’ stories, or even what I believe is my best work, but rather the moments that stood out in my mind from the last 12 months. I hope you all have a Happy New Year and stay safe!”
