Appeal for Witnesses Following Serious Collision in Climping

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A259 Greavatts Lane in Climping. The incident occurred at approximately 5.30pm on Tuesday, 14 May, involving four vehicles.

The vehicles involved in the collision were a silver and black Mitsubishi L200, a white Volkswagen Transporter, a silver Vauxhall Corsa, and a silver Nissan Juke. The 26-year-old male driver of the Mitsubishi and the 60-year-old female driver of the Nissan Juke sustained serious injuries and were promptly taken to hospital, where they remain under medical care. No other injuries were reported.

Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene, leading to a temporary closure of the road for recovery operations and a detailed collision investigation. The road has since been reopened.

Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision. They are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dash cam footage to come forward.
