City Council Approves Saltdean United’s Ambitious Clubhouse and Grounds Renovation Plan

The Saltdean United Legacy project has achieved a significant milestone with the Brighton & Hove City Council planning department approving all pre-commencement conditions for the new clubhouse, grounds renovation, and 3G pitch. This approval follows the initial planning permission granted in October 2022. Since then, the club has collaborated with various experts to fulfill these conditions. With formal approval now in place, the construction of the new clubhouse and other facilities will soon begin, marking an exciting phase for players, supporters, and the local community who will benefit from these enhancements.

This progress represents a major advancement for the Legacy project, which is spearheaded by dedicated volunteers and the Saltdean United committee. The club extends its gratitude to ECE Planning Consultants, LA Architects, Lizard Landscape Design & Ecology, Delta Green, SWP, C Denyer Ltd, and the Brighton & Hove City Council Estates Team for their support during this planning stage.
