A teenager in Bognor has been banned from driving after being involved in a police chase. The incident started with the report of a stolen vehicle on Friday, November 17.
The police chased the car, which did not stop on the A259 and eventually collided with another vehicle on Chichester Road.
Drugs were found in the stolen car and confiscated. The 17-year-old driver from Bersted was arrested and charged with dangerous driving, driving without a license, and intending to supply a class A drug.
He admitted to all charges at Worthing Youth Court on November 23. The court sentenced him to 24 months in a detention center, banned him from driving for two years, imposed a £41 victim surcharge, and required him to pass an extended driving test.
