This evening, delays occurred on the A23 around Gatwick Airport after a lorry jackknifed on the eastbound section between the Longbridge Roundabout and Airport Way. The lorry collided with the central reservation, causing damage that necessitated the closure of the outside lane on the westbound side as well.

Recovery operations are in progress, and Highways England is conducting repairs to the barrier.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and consider alternative routes.
