Laurel-less in Crawley: Thieves uproot bushes from unsuspecting victim

A homeowner in Crawley has been left devastated after a row of around 40 four-foot-tall Laurel bushes, which had just been planted that day, were stolen from outside their property. The bushes, were taken on Monday evening or overnight from the Balcome Road area of the town.

The theft has caused significant upset for the property owner, who had recently planted the bushes to enhance the appearance of their garden. The value of the stolen items is estimated to be in the hundreds of pounds, and their removal has resulted in a significant loss of the area’s natural beauty.

This incident follows another report of theft in the Kilnwood Lane area of Crawley, where similar items were stolen from the other side of town.
