Police release images of suspect in East Grinstead bookmakers armed robbery

Police have released images of a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a bookmakers in East Grinstead. The incident took place at Coral on the High Street on Saturday 25 February at approximately 8:48 pm.

According to Sussex Police, the suspect entered the store carrying a black firearm and demanded cash from a member of staff. He then left the premises with the cash and is believed to have fled the scene on a motorcycle.

The suspect is described as a man with an athletic build, standing at approximately 6 feet tall, who spoke with an Eastern European accent. He was dressed in all black, including a black motorcycle helmet.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to come forward. Additionally, authorities are asking anyone who may have captured footage of the incident on dash cam or CCTV to report it to the police.
