Court Sentences Man for Sexual Assault at Gatwick

A man has been imprisoned for sexually assaulting a woman near an airport terminal. Hassan Alsaadi engaged in non-consensual assault against the woman in a secluded, poorly lit area during the night.

The victim, whose identity is protected, received assistance from officers trained in handling such cases. She reported the incident that occurred outside the South Terminal at London Gatwick Airport to the authorities.

On January 19, at Hove Crown Court, Alsaadi was found guilty of sexual assault by touching and subsequently sentenced. The 33-year-old, previously residing in Kingston Hill, Kingston upon Thames, received a five-month jail sentence.

Additionally, Alsaadi has been registered as a sex offender for seven years. The court also issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order against him, which mandates him to inform any future partners about his criminal conviction.
