This Sunday (13th November) Eastbourne & Willingdon MP Caroline Ansell & other dignitaries attended the Butts Brow Memorial to remember the crew of the USAAF B24-D Liberator nicknamed “Ruth-less” which was badly damaged by enemy fire. Whilst flying in very low cloud crashed, killing all 10 airmen on board, 2 February 1944.
