Two individuals were detained after an assault incident in Brighton.
The incident occurred around 9:45 am on Wednesday, at a shop in The Highway, Moulsecoomb. A 49-year-old local man suffered a head injury and received treatment at the scene.
It was reported that three men fled in a Blue Ford Fiesta, which later crashed into another vehicle and a house in Colbourne Avenue.
A comprehensive search, including a police helicopter, led to the arrest of a 54-year-old man for grievous bodily harm with intent, and a 57-year-old man for actual bodily harm. Both are currently in custody. Efforts to find a third suspect are underway.
