During the last few days of bad weather, a cliff fall occurred around 400m West of Saltdean White Cliffs Cafe.
Large boulders of chalk have fallen from the cliffs landing on the undercliff walk.
Luckily it seems to of happened overnight as no reports of anyone being hit by rocks have been reported.
This is a reminder to be careful when walking under the cliffs even on public walkways.
Only 2 weeks ago we reported on a large cliff fall at Birling gap near Eastbourne where Wealden District Council has made the decision to close the popular tourist beach till further notice. https://sussex.news/east-sussex/birling-gap-beach-closed-due-to-rockfall/10882/
