In a troubling incident in Brighton on Lewes Road, between Franklin Road and The Level, a 41-year-old man was viciously assaulted, prompting Sussex Police to issue a call for witnesses and any relevant footage. The attack, which occurred between 11 PM and midnight on Monday, April 29, involved the victim being struck with a bottle, leading to severe injuries.

The victim was promptly taken to a local hospital, where he received treatment for injuries consistent with the violent encounter. Fortunately, he has since been discharged and is recovering.

The suspect, still at large, is described as a man with blond hair, approximately 5’11” tall, last seen wearing a white hooded top and white T-shirt.
