Drug Supply Investigation in St Leonards Leads to Two Arrests

Two individuals were detained by St Leonards police on drug-related charges.

In the late morning of January 22, undercover officers on patrol in the Warrior Square vicinity observed what appeared to be a drug transaction.

A woman, aged 39, was apprehended under the suspicion of involvement in distributing Class A substances. While in custody, she was also suspected of possessing a Class A drug.

Upon her arrest, the woman revealed the presence of a man at her residence, allegedly armed with a sword.

Following this information, police carried out a search warrant at her home under Section 18, where a 21-year-old man was taken into custody. He was suspected of involvement in the distribution of Class A drugs, possession of Class A and B drugs, and having a weapon in a private setting.

Both were granted conditional bail until April 22 as the investigation proceeds.
