A Man was hit over the head with a baseball bat In Eastbourne

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Eastbourne on Tuesday 10 May, in which a man was hit with a baseball bat.

The victim was walking between St. Phillips Avenue and Marlow Avenue between 6 and 8pm, when he was approached from behind by two men who attacked him before running off.

Police are also keen to speak to a woman who was walking her dog at the time of the incident and may have witnessed the assault.
