Appeal for information after A281 collision near Horsham

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a car and a lorry near Horsham.

The incident on the A281 Guildford Road took place at about 7.25am on August 3.

It involved a black Kia and a blue and white Volvo lorry between the junction with Strood Lane and Rowhook Road, approaching the roundabout junction with the A29.

The motorists involved suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

In particular, officers investigating the collision are keen to locate the driver of a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction on the A281 towards Strood Green or Broadbridge Heath, as they believe the motorist may have important information or dashcam footage.

The third vehicle may have been a Ford Kuga.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident is asked to report it to Sussex Police online, call 101, or email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk and quote serial 217 of 03/08.
