ASLEF Strike Action Halts Trains Across Sussex

Reduced timetable expected all week, starting with today's limited Gatwick Express service.

Rail passengers in Sussex face major disruptions today as no trains are running in the region, except for a limited Gatwick Express service between Gatwick and Victoria. This comes as ASLEF drivers participate in a strike, significantly impacting local and commuter rail services.

The strike action has forced the cancellation of regular train services throughout Sussex. The only exception is the Gatwick Express, which operates a severely reduced schedule, providing minimal connectivity between Gatwick Airport and London Victoria.

Additionally, the rail network will continue to experience disruptions for the remainder of the week due to an ongoing overtime ban by drivers. Passengers are advised to expect a reduced timetable and are strongly encouraged to check their travel plans in advance.

Travelers are urged to stay updated by checking the latest travel information before heading to the station.
