Chief Constable Jo Shiner has this message of thanks for volunteers who dedicate their time to Sussex Police

Across the country people are getting together to say thank you.

On Thank You Day Chief Constable Jo Shiner has this message of thanks for volunteers who dedicate their time to Sussex Police: “It has been important that during National Volunteers’ Week that we celebrate, thank and acknowledge the hard work, dedication, commitment and invaluable contribution all our volunteers make to Sussex Police.

“Today is National Thank You Day and I would like to thank and formally recognise all our volunteers for their continuous efforts and passion in policing. All of our volunteers play a vital role in support officers and staff in force.

“There are some outstanding examples of volunteers within Sussex Police showing their commitment and passion for policing through volunteering, whether they be one of our Special Constables, Police Support Volunteers, Cadets or one of the many volunteering partners we work with.

“I would like to extend my sincere thanks for the incredible service and support all of our volunteers show Sussex Police.”
