Flurry of Thefts from motor vehicles in the Rother area

Last weekend saw a flurry of Thefts from motor vehicles in the Rother area.

Damage was caused to the driver and front passenger windows of several parked cars and vans in Bexhill on Sea.

Some of these offences occurred during daytime hours and they are all believed to be linked.

Valuables were stolen from inside one of the vehicles.

The main areas affected by these crimes were London Road, Terminus Road and roads in the south Sidley area, north of King Offa Way.

It is believed the crimes were committed by a male acting alone although an accomplice cannot be ruled out.

Police are reminding people about vehicle security, in particular not to leave valuables on display in their vehicles.

Anyone with any information is advised to contact Sussex Police on 101, or report online at https://orlo.uk/mJT9j or alternatively email/contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
