Police appeal for witnesses after an assault in Bognor Town Centre

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Bognor Regis town centre on Sunday, October 2.

Emergency services were called to Station Road at around 10.45pm to reports of a man having been injured in an assault.

Two suspects – a man and a woman – were seen to flee the scene in the direction of London Road.

The male suspect was white and wearing a half-length coat and a white t-shirt.

The female was also white and wearing a white t-shirt, with a short dark coat, dark trousers and dark footwear.

The victim suffered significant facial injuries.

Anybody who witnessed the incident or has any information which could help the investigation is asked to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 1224 of 02/10
