Police have made arrests in connection with stolen motorcycle and mopeds across Eastbourne

Police have made arrests in connection with stolen motorcycle and mopeds across the Eastbourne district

Following a number of thefts reported by members of the community, officers for Eastbourne have this week been conducting various enquiries into both identifying suspects, and tracing stolen vehicles.

Inspector Taylor for Eastbourne said:
“Thanks to the hard work of local officers, we have now identified and arrested 4 people within the last 48 hours; so far two have been charged with 7 offences relating to the recent thefts of motorcycles in the Eastbourne area, namely in and around the Langley area.
Officers continue to work hard to identify and trace further suspects and offences; and I thank members of the community for relaying information to us that they have seen on social media”.

“To assist with our ongoing enquiries, please continue to report offences, and provide any information to us online or to 101.
If you have been a victim of crime, or had your motorcycle/moped stolen in the few weeks, and haven’t reported it to us, please report online or by calling 101, quoting ‘Op Bristle’
