Two men have been arrested following an incident in St Leonards.
Police were called to a report of a man carrying weapons in Oxford Road about 12.15am on 1 July.
Officers quickly responded and two men were arrested, and items including a shortened shotgun were recovered.
No injuries were reported and there is not believed to be any threat to the wider community.

Daniel Cannon, 28, of Fairlight Road, Hastings, is charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and producing cannabis.
Both defendants appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 2 July and were remanded in custody, ahead of their next court appearance on a date yet to be fixed.
