Update: Boy 17, arrested for dangerous driving after women and children injured in serious Barcombe RTC

A boy, 17, has been arrested for causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a serious road traffic collision in Barcombe, East Sussex. The driver has been realised on bail. This tragic incident came after Barcombe Bonfire Night 2022, which was celebrating 50 years since its reformation.

Two women aged, 67, and 30, have been hospitalised for serious injuries. Among the injured were two children, who were treated by emergency services at the scene but thankfully did not require hospitalisation.

Barcombe High Street has now been reopened by police after it was closed overnight as the specialist investigation took place at the scene.
