Body found in woodland at Hampden Park, Eastbourne this morning

A police corden has been established in Hampden Park woods this morning, near Eastbourne after the discovery of a body. Sussex Police has confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances.

A local resident has said – “3 police cars, lights and sirens on entered the park Decoy Drive about 9.30 this morning, there was also a police van in the park. Cordon the whole of the woods off from the park gates entrance all the way round pass the cafe to opposite the tennis courts.”
