Three individuals have been formally charged with the murder of 10-year-old Sara Sharif, whose lifeless body was discovered at her residence in Woking on August 10th.
On September 15th, the Crown Prosecution Service granted authorization for charges to be filed against the three suspects, which include Sara’s father, 41-year-old Urfan Sharif of Hammond Road, Woking, Urfan’s partner, 29-year-old Beinash Batool, also residing on Hammond Road, Woking, and Urfan’s brother, 28-year-old Faisal Malik, who also lives on Hammond Road, Woking.
These charges also encompass allegations of causing or permitting a child’s death.
The accused trio was apprehended on the evening of September 13th at Gatwick Airport as they disembarked from a flight originating in Dubai.
All three have been detained in custody and are scheduled to appear before Guildford Magistrate’s Court later today, September 15th.
Sara’s mother has been informed of these recent developments and is receiving support from specialized officers.
