Unclaimed bikes spoke-n for: Brighton Police seek rightful riders of found, stolen bikes

Brighton and Hove Police recovered a collection of bicycles from an address in St James’s Street, Brighton, believed to have been stolen, and are now appealing to the public for assistance in identifying their rightful owners.

The trove of bicycles includes a black and orange Voodoo model, a red and black Simplon Chenoa prominently displaying Mountain Mania Cycles branding, a black and green Carrera Vulcan with a South Coast Bikes label, and a red, black, and blue Ridgeback MX4.

Two other bicycles not pictured were also found during the operation – a blue and pink Ammaco children’s bike, and a black Pendleton Drake adult bike.

As the investigation into the suspected thefts continues, Brighton and Hove Police are asking anyone who recognises these bicycles or has information relating to their disappearance to please come forward.

“Your assistance can make a significant difference,” a spokesperson for the force said. “If you believe one of these bikes is yours, or if you have any information that could help us return these bicycles to their rightful owners, please contact us.”

Members of the public are urged to contact the police either online or by calling 101, quoting serial 615 of 14/02, with any information regarding the bicycles.
