West Sussex Social Worker Charged with Child Sexual Offences

Following legal proceedings, Weller appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 13th April, where he was remanded in custody.

A West Sussex social worker finds himself at the center of serious allegations involving sexual offences against children. The case came to light on 3rd March following the discovery of explicit messages on a teenage girl’s Snapchat account, exchanged between her and an adult male.

Identified as Thomas Weller, a 33-year-old from the Horsham area, the individual in question was swiftly apprehended after being flagged as a suspect. Weller’s arrest took place on 24th March in connection with the aforementioned investigation.

Authorities have leveled several charges against Weller, including engaging in sexual communication with a child, attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, and three counts of unauthorized computer access with intent to commit other offences.

Following legal proceedings, Weller appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 13th April, where he was remanded in custody.
