Appeal following serious collision in Cross in Hand involving a car and motorcycle

Witnesses to a serious collision involving a car and motorcycle on September 24 in Cross in Hand are being asked to come forward.

Officers attended the scene following the collision just after 4pm on Mayfield flat to find the motorcyclist with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment via ambulance.

Colleagues from the Highways Agency removed both vehicles from the road, which was re-opened in both directions at about 6.15pm.

Anyone with information or footage relevant to the collision is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting serial 858 of 24/09.
