Fourth victim succumbs to injuries after Duncton car collision earlier this month

Sussex Police yesterday evening announced a fourth person involved in a collision at Duncton, located near Chichester, earlier this month has sadly succumbed to their injuries.

An investigation is still ongoing into the collision involving a white BMW 220 and a grey Mercedes C200 on the A285 at around 7.30pm on 10 June.

Three people from the BMW were tragically declared dead at the scene; a fourth person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Three of the occupants in the Mercedes were also taken to hospital and sadly one of those occupants has now passed away.

A police spokesperson said in a statement: “Anyone who saw either vehicle being driven in the area around that time, or captured any relevant footage on dash cam, is asked to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk quoting Operation Falkirk.”
