A ‘Mothful’ of Trouble: Tesco Recalls Contaminated Stuffing Mix

A food safety alert has been issued following the discovery of moth contamination in a batch of Tesco’s ‘Finest Apple & Cranberry Stuffing Mix.’ The affected product, specifically the 130g pack with a best before date of September 2024, has been deemed unsafe for consumption.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has urgently advised consumers who have purchased this product not to eat it. Instead, they should return it to their nearest Tesco store for a full refund. This warning comes in response to reports of moth infestation, which is believed to have originated from one of the raw ingredients used in the stuffing mix.

Tesco has acted promptly to address the issue, pulling the affected batch from sale.
