Man hospitalised with serious injuries after early morning Brighton hit and run

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit-and-run collision on Brighton seafront left a 32-year-old man from Maresfield with serious injuries. The incident occurred on Kings Road at around 5am on Monday, August 7th.

According to a Sussex Police spokesperson, the driver of a grey vehicle involved in the collision did not stop at the scene. The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where he remains.

Officers investigating the incident have urged witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. In particular, they are seeking anyone with relevant CCTV, mobile phone footage, or dashcam footage in the area at the time of the collision.

Information can be reported to Sussex Police online or by calling 101 and quoting serial 152 of 07/08. The investigation is ongoing.
