Police hunt for suspect in Brighton and Hove shop assault

Sussex Police are actively investigating an assault that took place at a local shop in Brighton and Hove. Police have released a photograph of a man they are eager to speak with regarding the incident.

The assault occurred on May 31 at approximately 7:40 p.m, outside of Co-op on Western Road, leaving a 47-year-old man with minor injuries. In their efforts to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident, police officers are keen to identify and locate an individual associated with the case.

The sought-after suspect is described as a Caucasian male, aged between 30 and 40 years old, standing at approximately 5’6″ tall. The man sports dreadlocks and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, green trousers, a jacket tied around his waist, and carrying a blanket.

Police are urging witnesses who were present at the scene or anyone possessing information related to the incident to come forward. Sussex Police has requested that any relevant details be reported online, referencing serial number 1399 dated 31/05.
