Raving Mad: Fatboy Slim’s Café Hit by Vandals

Extensive property damage forces The Big Beach Café to shut its doors temporarily.

The Big Beach Café, a popular local spot owned by internationally renowned DJ Fatboy Slim, faced significant disruptions this morning due to extensive vandalism. The café, situated at Hove Lagoon, Kingsway, was unable to open after thousands of pounds worth of damage were inflicted on the property.

CCTV footage released by the café shows several youths with bikes causing the damage. One image, shared on social media, depicts a youngster holding a piece of a paving slab above his head before throwing it. Further images reveal the extent of the damage.

In a statement on the café’s Facebook page, the management expressed their frustration: “Sorry we are unable to open our kitchen this morning as these three vile hooligans have caused ££££ of damage to our community business! Please share and get in touch with their details so we can prosecute them and make them pay for their actions.”

The post included a crime reference number, 47240102952, and an additional ref of 226310524, urging anyone who recognises the individuals to come forward.
